About US...
Northern California Pomskies is a small Pomsky breeding program. We are dedicated to the health and temperament of our dogs and seek out only desirable traits to pass on to our puppies. We strongly support responsible breeding practices and responsible ownership. Please see our code of ethics, the carefully considered standards that we are committed to following within our breeding program. We feel our serious commitment is reflected in our dedication to the care and quality of our dogs, as well as our continued use of a strict spay and neuter contract and thorough application process for our puppies. We are constantly seeking to improve our program and produce the very best pomskies.
We are a family of 5 and it is important that everyone is involved in the care and socialization of our dogs. My husband, Rob, and myself, Ashley, share in the primary care of our dogs and puppies, but as our children grow they love to be a part of every aspect as well. We have worked to simplify our lives and we now run a small home business which allows to us to be home with our fur family. We are dedicated to our dogs and we absolutely love and believe in what we do. We’re located in Palermo, CA, south of Lake Oroville and about 30 min outside Chico, CA. We live on a little over 2 acres with plenty of room for our dogs to explore and exercise. Our dogs are a part of our family and they are involved in our everyday life.
Working in the canine industries for 13+ years prior to breeding, I gained much knowledge and experience regarding different canine breeds, canine behavior, and health. When I became a stay at home mom, I missed being involved in the dog world. In the summer on 2013, I began researching the seemingly very mysterious "Pomsky". I was asking myself, how is the breeding achieved? What does a REAL Pomsky look like? Who is breeding these dogs? What are the health concerns? Why the controversy regarding hybrids? You may be asking yourself similar questions and in my FAQ section as well as Why Pomskies? section, I will endeavor to give you satisfying answers. I, for myself, drew satisfying conclusions after many months of research and a few expert questionings. I had contacted the founder of the Pomsky Club of America and she was kind enough to answer some of my questions and point me in the right direction. I really appreciated the club's breeder's code of ethics and feel that any responsible breeder should adhere to some kind of set guidelines. We joined the club on August 21, 2014.
As previously stated, the first priority to our breeding program is the health and temperament of our dogs. We want to create a wonderful family dog and companion so we only seek out the healthiest and best personalities possible in our breeding dogs. All of our dogs are DNA and health tested for over 190 genetic conditions. We do this to protect the future health of all our puppies, and to ensure the health of our lines when deciding to keep puppies for future breeding. Because we began with a foundation of Siberian Huskies and Pomeranians for our breeding program, we know the lineage and temperaments going back several generations. Our breeding Pomskies are happy, friendly, love children and other animals. They’re the perfect balance between the incredibly loyal and affectionate Pomeranian and the playful and independent Siberian Husky. Our Pomskies are also the perfect size, not too tiny, not too big.
Please follow our progress and get the latest updates on our Facebook page and Instagram. We have a wonderful community of Pomsky enthusiasts and we love getting regular updates on our past puppies from their truly awesome families. Many of our Pomsky families have set up Instagram accounts for our past puppies and we encourage you to visit our PAST PUPPIES section to see how those puppies have grown and developed over time. We will also be posting updates to this website as well, just not as often. If you have any questions please visit our FAQ page first and if you still have questions feel free to email us: ([email protected]) or message us on Instagram or Facebook. Also please sign up for our newsletter in the contact section of our website for news on upcoming litters and to be notified when we are accepting applications for available puppies.
Thank you for your interest and doing your research. We truly appreciate responsible families who want to know about their breeder!

Our Nursery and Outdoor Play areas...
We understand the importance of knowing where your future furry family member is being raised. Below are some photos of our puppy nursery, indoor/outdoor kennels and outdoor play areas. We have a large “husky proof” fenced yard outside of our puppy nursery and also 2.5 fully fenced acres for our dogs to really get some good running in supervised.
